Kojo Appenteng is a Managing Director at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., where he heads the Healthcare Technology Investment Banking Practice. Prior to Stifel, he was a Managing Director at Edgemont Capital Partners, and he has previously held investment banking roles at Credit Suisse, Harris Williams, and Morgan Stanley.
In his current role, Kojo leads M&A and capital raising transactions and works closely with CEOs, executives, and corporate boards across the healthcare technology industry. Kojo has executed over $30 billion in aggregate transaction value over his career.
Kojo is also the co-founder and a board member of The PAR Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to driving equitable capital to under-represented minority and women entrepreneurs. He has previously served on the advisory boards of Accion’s Center for Financial Inclusion, Seeding Labs, and The Microfinance Council. He is also a prior member of the Young Leader’s Circle at the Milken Institute.
Kojo earned a B.Sc. with honors in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also studied impact investing at Oxford University.
