About Jacob Shapiro:Jacob Shapiro is an active investor, advisor and mentor to entrepreneurs across the investing spectrum.
Jacob currently serves as the President of Karlov Street Capital, an innovative investment firm focused on the Real Estate, Lending and Private Equity space. The firm has invested in 20+ private placements since 2014 deploying capital from the Shapiro Family Office and over 350 high net worth investors.
Jacob also serves as a Managing Director on the Investment Team at Cleveland Avenue, a Venture Capital firm focused on the Food & Beverage industry. Jacob’s experience in helping small companies scale gives him unique perspectives on critical business topics such as strategic planning, sales generation, product distribution, operational execution, capital raising and corporate governance. Jacob currently serves on the Boards of Sustainable Beverage Technologies, Bright Cellars and Bhakti Chai Tea.
Jacob’s career in finance has also included roles on the Consumer Investment Banking Team at Robert W. Baird & Co. and at Citi Private Bank.
Jacob holds Bachelor of Arts degrees from Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary in New York and received his MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
