KFN announces new Advisory Board member Geoff Bland ('91),
Chief Investment Officer, Wedbush Capital
Geoff Bland is the Chief Investment Officer of Wedbush Capital, a Los Angeles based, privately held, diversified investment firm that has been investing in private and public companies for more than 40 years, both directly as well as through its sponsored funds, such as Wedbush Capital Partners and Wedbush Ventures. Its largest holding, Wedbush Securities, is a leading financial services firm that provides its clients, both private and institutional, with a wide range of securities brokerage, wealth management and investment banking services.
Geoff is a frequent speaker on issues related to family-owned business and the private equity industry, and has been a guest lecturer at UCLA’s Anderson School of Business and Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business, and he is currently a member of the Advisory Council for USC’s Marshall School of Business Entrepreneurial Studies Program.
He is currently a board member of Wedbush Financial Services and an Advisor and Investment Committee Member of Wedbush Ventures; former board roles include Passport Foods (Chair), CritierionBrock (Chair), VCC, Critical Alert, Wahoo’s and Extrumed. Geoff was formerly a member of the Stanford Athletic Board, Mayfield Senior School’s Board of Trustees and Mayfield Junior School’s Board of Trustees (Chair).
Geoff earned his BA in Economics at Stanford University and his MBA at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
